Redact PDF

Black out ID numbers, IBANs, phone numbers, emails or anything you choose. The hidden text is really removed, not just covered with a box — and nothing is uploaded.

Merge, split, reorder, rotate and convert — all inside your browser. Add as many as you like, drag the pages into order, then download one PDF. Pick pages or ranges and get each part as its own PDF. JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC — each image becomes a page of one tidy PDF. Every page becomes a sharp PNG or JPG image. Fill in forms, add text and dates, and sign — right on the page. Choose where the numbers go and how they look — the thumbnails update instantly. Stamp CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT or your own words across every page. Make big scans and photo-heavy PDFs small enough to email — text stays sharp. Lock it with a password (AES-256) and choose whether it can be copied or edited. Type the password once and save a copy that opens without it. Black out ID numbers, IBANs, phone numbers or anything you choose — removed for good, not just covered. Turn scanned pages into text you can copy, search and edit — Arabic and English.

A PDF studio that never sees your files

Most online PDF sites send your documents to their own computers — contracts, bank statements, IDs and all — and many make you pay before you can download the result. Here, all the work happens on your own phone or computer. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is kept, and you never pay. Once the page has loaded, it even works without internet.

  1. Add PDFs and images — drop them in, choose them, or paste.
  2. Arrange — drag pages into order, rotate the sideways ones, remove the ones you don’t need.
  3. Download one PDF, split it into several, or save the pages as images.
Are my files really not uploaded?

Really. The PDF engines run inside this page, and the page makes no network requests while you work — you can switch off Wi-Fi after it loads and everything still works. Open your browser’s developer tools and watch the Network tab if you’d like to check.

Is there a size or page limit?

There’s no artificial limit — no daily caps and no “Pro” tier. The only limit is your device’s memory: hundreds of pages are fine on a laptop or a recent phone.

Can it open password-protected PDFs?

Yes. If a PDF needs a password to open, you’ll be asked for it, and it’s only used on your device. PDFs that open freely but block editing (common for bank statements) are handled automatically. The pages you download are saved without the protection.

Will links, text and quality be preserved?

Yes. Pages are copied exactly — text stays selectable and searchable, and nothing is re-compressed. Only images you add are converted, and only if you choose “Smaller file”. Bookmarks from the original files aren’t carried over when merging.

Can I fill in forms and sign documents?

Yes. Double-click a page (or press “Fill & sign”) to type into its form fields, add text, dates and ticks, and place your signature — drawn with your finger, typed in handwriting, or taken from a photo. Arabic text is supported. You can keep your signatures in your end-to-end encrypted vault to reuse them.

Is a signature made here legally binding?

It’s a picture of your signature placed on the page — the same as signing a printout and scanning it. That’s accepted for many everyday documents, but some contracts and government services require a certified digital signature (for example through Nafath). If in doubt, ask whoever needs the document.

How much smaller will compression make my file?

It depends on what’s inside. Scans and photo-heavy PDFs often shrink by 70–95%, because their pictures are re-encoded at a sensible resolution. PDFs that are mostly text are already small and barely change. Text, fonts and drawings are never touched, so they stay perfectly sharp.

Is redaction really permanent?

Yes. Pages with redactions aren’t just covered with black boxes — they’re rebuilt from a picture of the page with the boxes painted in, so the hidden text, its fonts and anything underneath are not in the downloaded file at all. Other pages keep their text. Always check the result before you share it.

How good is the text recognition?

Very good on clear printed text in Arabic and English — scans, photos of documents and screenshots. It can’t read handwriting, and Eastern Arabic digits (٠١٢٣) are sometimes misread, so check important numbers. It runs on your device; the first time, the recogniser (about 8 MB) is downloaded once and then works offline.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Tap to select pages, press and hold a page to drag it, and photos straight from your camera roll — including iPhone HEIC photos in Safari — become PDF pages.
