Password on tap

Tap the widget and a strong password is generated on your iPhone and copied to the clipboard, ready to paste. The widget never displays a password, so nobody can read one off your Home Screen.

How to

Install in a minute

  1. Install the free Scriptable app from the App Store.
  2. On your iPhone, open this page in Safari and tap Get widget, then choose Open in Scriptable. If that option doesn’t appear, tap Copy code, create a new script in Scriptable with +, paste, and give it a name.
  3. Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap + (or Edit → Add Widget), search for Scriptable and pick a size.
  4. Tap the new widget, choose your script under Script, and optionally add a Parameter. For the Lock Screen, add a Scriptable widget from the Lock Screen editor the same way.

The scripts are plain, readable JavaScript — open them in Scriptable or view the source on GitHub. Neither widget makes any network request — everything happens on your iPhone.
