Speed Test
Measure download, upload, latency and responsiveness under load — against our own server, with nothing logged and no third party watching.
What this connection handles well
Why a self-hosted speed test?
Popular speed tests are run by companies that collect your IP address, location and results to build network maps and ad profiles. This one runs entirely between your browser and our server, and the result exists only on your screen.
Because it measures the path to a single server in Riyadh, it’s most representative for connections in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. Very fast fibre plans (above roughly 600 Mbps) may read a little lower than their real capacity.
Why is my result lower than my plan?
Wi-Fi is the most common bottleneck — try again on a cable or close to the router. Other devices downloading at the same time, VPNs and busy evening hours also reduce speed.
What is “responsiveness under load”?
It’s how much your latency rises while the connection is busy, often called bufferbloat. A good router keeps it low, so video calls and games stay smooth even while someone is downloading.
